Breast Tattooing

Areola and nipple tattooing is a specialised area of medical tattooing and requires an advanced practitioner to perform these procedures. Suzanne has performed numerous procedures with referrals from Australian plastic surgeons for over 30 years, and worked with the Melbourne Institute of Plastic Surgery for the past 22 years.

AREOLA AND NIPPLE TATTOOING

The areola plays a key role on the appearance of your breast, people survive breast cancer after undergoing a masectomy, and regain their breasts after breast reconstruction, but often do not feel complete without an areola or nipple.

Areola and nipple tattooing procedures can help improve the appearance and your self esteem, for both men and women who have have undergone breast surgery, by providing the finishing touch after surgery which creates a more natural looking breast.

After Lumpectomy or Masectomy, cosmetic tattoo techniques are used to create the appearance of an areola and nipple.  Nipple simulation can be achieved with or without a surgical nipple procedure.  For the unilateral breast surgery patient, a cosmetic tattooing procedure can help to match the natural breast.

AREOLA AND SCAR CAMOUFLAGE

Peri areola scars (incision around the areola) are often from breast reduction, mammoplasty or augmentation, these scars can be camouflaged.

AREOLA SIZE, SHAPE AND COLOUR

This adjustment procedure is for individuals who have not had breast surgery but want to create more colour, to increase the size or adjust the shape of the areola. This procedure is chosen to improve your appearance.

GYNECOSMASTIA PATIENTS

Men’s peri areola scars can also be camouflaged.
