Microblading FAQ

How long does the microblading procedure last?

This varies from person to person and a colour refresh is recommended on average from 12 months after the initial microblading procedure.

How long does it take?

The procedure is split into 2 appointments, which are 4-6 weeks apart to allow for the healing process to complete.

The technician advises clients to be cautious of places that claim to complete the process in one hour. It's not a rushed procedure, it cannot be done in an hour due to the meticulous process.

How long is the recovery or healing time?

Most clients walk right out the door immediately, ready to show off their new brows.  Initially stronger in colour, with time your new brows will soften to a natural looking and beautiful colour, this will normally take round around two weeks.

When will I see the final results?

You will see your final results after the healing process is fully completed, usually in four to six weeks. Directly after the procedure a noticeable difference will be readily apparent.

How do you choose the shape?

We consult together in order to get the perfect shape and style that suits you perfectly.  At the beginning of the microblading procedure, we will draw in a suggested shape for your new brows and then we work together to perfect this to your preference, all the time measurements are taken to check symmetry and position.

What will they look like immediately after the procedure?

They will be considerably darker for the first week, before they begin to fade to the softer colour you have selected.

Will they fade?

Your body’s skin changes over time as will any permanent makeup coloration implanted in to your skins layers.  However, this natural fading process happens over time and touch ups can be easily done as your colours fade.
